Polyester is everywhere these days. It's cheap to make, and sure, it can have its upsides. But at the end of the day, it's just plastic. Wrapping yourself in a plastic bag every single day? Not great. Polyester traps heat, clings to sweat, and sheds microplastics with every wash. That's a no for us. Which is why we do things differently at Three Oh Six: no polyester, no nylon, no acrylic.
WE LOVE ORGANIC & BIO-BASED FIBERS
It doesn't have to be polyester. We use organic cotton from GOTS certified suppliers, TENCEL™ Modal spun from Austrian beechwood in a closed loop, and EVO® nylon by Fulgar. EVO® Nylon is nylon made from plants: corn and castor oil, not crude oil. It's ultralight, stretchy, and dries fast. And we cap spandex at 5%. Fun fact: GOTS actually allows up to 30%. We only use it in pieces that really need stretch, for a fit that lasts.

For Three Oh Six, Somália mainly produces the pajamas and sweat collections. Sustainability, fair working conditions and a careful use of materials are a clear priority.
